The objective of the center will provide the information technology to clients headquartered in Europe. The Center will be built in Wroclaw.
„We chose Wroclaw as the location for the new centre because it provides a unique mix of linguistic skills, technical talent and an environment which is conducive for business development,” said Anna Sieńko, Country General Manager of Poland. So the technical and technology graduates have more chances to find the employment, especially that with the European language capability. There will be about 2000 of the new workplaces. IBM will work closely with universities in the Wroclaw, the districts of Wroclaw and elsewhere in Poland to help enhance curricula and better students’ preparation for opportunities in the information technology industry. The centre is planned to be operational in the Spring 2010.
