Red Carpet Properties From 16 to 19 March 2010 will be the biggest and the most prestige event of real estate market on the world- MIPIM w Cannes ( France). Among the international investors, there will be real estate agencies, banks, development companies, and the representatives of cities and districts. About 2,300 international investors, a 12% increase on the same period 2009, have already signed up for the 21st edition of MIPIM. This report shows the confidence in the real estate market and less strict bank credit policy, which opens the door to new investment opportunities. This year’s edition will prove that confidence is starting to come back among investors, developers and end-users. Everybody expect some discussion about investment opportunities in the real estate sector, on the financial market and trends in 2010. During the event will be a cycle of five conferences entitled “Recovery positions” organized in the partnership with IPD. Because of crisis, investors are keen to go back to basics of running business, and are going into details of assets and investment vehicles. There are also points about various classes of assets, and acquisition of assets, bank loans in the form of securities and companies in the property market. In 2nd March 2010 has been announced the list of 15 finalist selected by the MIPIM Awards Jury. The committee comprises well-know personalities and, professionals from the international real state sector. “We were all very impressed by the 80 projects from 28 countries including Singapore, South Korea and the United States. The choice was particularly difficult to make between these high-quality projects. Criteria such as overall sustainability, state of the art architectural design and acceptance by users, were extremely important in the selection process this year.” said Jury President, Bärbel Schomberg. The MIPIM Awards 2010 nominees are in the category of Business Centers, Refurbished Office Buildings, Residential Developments, Hotels&Tourism Resorts, Green Buildings.
